I’m excited to introduce a new feature at our Saratoga Springs office—a vibroacoustic sound bed. This innovative technology uses four transducers to vibrate the table, allowing you to not only hear the sound but feel it resonate through your entire body, creating an immersive tactile experience.Years ago, I became fascinated with mechanically altering connective tissue as a way to facilitate change. Heat and mechanical vibration proved to be powerful tools, and along the way, I discovered that certain frequencies worked better than others.

One of my earliest experiments with sound healing came from an unlikely source—my cat, Pappineaux. I recorded her purring (audio visualizer here) and placed several transducers under my massage table, calling it the Purr Generator. A cat’s purr is a wonder of nature, and I wondered if amplifying it and applying it to the body as a whole could have positive effects. What started as a fun experiment ultimately led me down a rabbit hole of sound healing. My brother and I went on to found The Gong Lab, where we explored sound healing on a deeper level. Regular events are still held at Yoga Mandali in Saratoga.

Now, 15 years later, InHarmony has perfected the technology of vibroacoustics, creating a truly immersive experience. They’ve embedded the transducer into a comfortable contour bed designed for maximum frequency penetration. In addition, they have developed hours of healing frequencies and soundscapes that are deeply relaxing and rejuvenating.

Tools like this don’t create healing on their own—their job is to oil the wheels of “healing machine”.
