Welcome Barbara Hall, LMT Hot stone specialist
Really appears to welcome Barbara Hall to our ranks. Barbara is a recent transplant back to her hometown here in Niskayuna. I’ve included some details about her bio below.
Barbara Hall has been a licensed massage therapist for over 15 years. She began her journey at CNI College in Orange, CA, where she developed a solid foundation in therapeutic bodywork. In 2011, she relocated to South Carolina, where she refined her skills and opened her own practice in 2015. Since then, she has dedicated herself to helping her community feel their best through personalized care and skilled therapeutic techniques. In late 2020 she returned to the wilds of her home state, New York, where she attended the Center for Natural Wellness to complete the additional hours recommended by the state to become a licensed therapist in NY. Barbara has been an active member of both the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), further demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence.
Barbara specializes in hot stone massage, a modality she regards as one of the most effective therapeutic treatments. Her technique is distinctive, skillfully utilizing the stones to meet the body’s specific needs—whether through a deep tissue approach for targeted relief or for creating an exceptionally relaxing massage experience. She values the stones’ ability to deliver deep, penetrating heat that melts away muscle tension from the inside out, promoting both profound relaxation and meaningful healing.
Barbara has completed extensive continuing education over the years, with particular passion for pre- and post-natal massage and IASTM (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization). Her approach is rooted in a desire to help clients leave each session feeling balanced, refreshed, and deeply connected to their bodies.
When she isn’t practicing the art of massage, Barbara expresses her creativity as a multimedia artist. She specializes in watercolor painting, stained glass, and creating crystal and gemstone jewelry using the electroforming process. Barbara also enjoys connecting with nature, spending quality time with her husband and their beloved fur children, and volunteering to give back to her community.
Barbara’s holistic approach to wellness blends her technical expertise with her artistic spirit, making her practice as unique as her clients.
