Lucia Questel, LMT, graduated from the Center for Natural Wellness
School of Massage Therapy in Albany, 2019. In learning massage she
understood the healing power of touch. She was moved by the experience
of being able to ease pain and suffering through massage and realized this
was her calling. She currently offers deep tissue and Swedish massage,
incorporating Shiatsu pressure points and stretching.
Lucia has also studied Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art that focusses on the
workings of the human body as well as character building, and physical
fitness.
Lucia is bilingual and bicultural, speaking both Portuguese and English.
She graduated high school in the US and went on to complete her
university degree in Brazil. She makes her permanent home in the US with
her 12 year-old daughter Vicky.
In her spare time Lucia enjoys spending time in nature with Vicky. She
also enjoys cooking traditional Brazilian bean dishes, sharing them with
friends and the students at Vicky’s school. She is also an accomplished
crafter, spending her free time in winter creating original work in many
different mediums.
