Rebecca graduated from The Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in Albany, NY in 2004. Since then, she has massaged hundreds of individuals in such varied locations as a provincial home for elderly nuns, the SXSW music festival in Austin, TX, and aboard motor yachts off the coast of Italy. Her unique, Swedish-based technique of therapeutic yet relaxing massage has been appreciated by her clients for over seventeen years. She especially enjoys the challenge of working on stressed out and knotted necks and upper backs which, due to lots of time spent working in front of the computer, tend to be problem areas for most people. Rebecca believes the greatest benefit of receiving regular massage is the “waking up” of ones parasympathetic nervous system, which signals the body to “rest and relax” and facilitates the absorption of stress hormones (such as cortisol) that have been released in the body during a typical busy day.
When she is not massaging, Rebecca enjoys exploring new places and spending time gardening, cooking, and reading at the converted barn she shares with her husband in beautiful Washington County, NY
